Still moving forward

I know that it has been a while since our last post. Believe me - we haven't forgotten about the house. Besides fun family member stuff which has distracted us for a bit, we have been securing a design/build team. This was a big first step because you only want to make this decision once. Our living room in our current home is also covered in magazines with stickies indicating concepts that inspire. The laptops are out with spreadsheets and organizational files. All we need now is to maintain our patience in bringing out the jack hammer. It is so tempting to start knocking walls down now but really we have to wait. Design drawings are needed in order for them to be the basis for our contract with the builder. Other than tree removal/trimming and raccoon clean-up, we have to wait. I will keep you posted.
