Now that we have a better idea of the proposed interior layout for our house, we can start thinking about the reuse of some of the existing elements. Currently in the house, there are these three "bubble glass" doors. If anyone has suggestions for where to post informaton on these doors being available for purchase, please let us know. There is always the option to donate them to Habitat for Humanity but first we would like to try and sell things we are not going to reuse. Of course, there is Craig's List - what are the other options?
We love the doors but since the house is going to be opened up more, we probably won't be reusing them. One door is a 3/4 door with 1/4 optional opening on a hinge (first picture). The other two doors are different styles for the glass panes.
Any suggestions?

I went to Architectural Antiques on Richmond (near MEC) and they said that the only place to try and have the doors reused is Habitat for Humanity. Apparently, there isn't a website for this kind of stuff in Ottawa other than the ones already listed (used Ottawa, etc). Everyone does seem to mention "Cohen and Cohen" off Merivale as a salvage place that might take the doors and other items. We will see. I know that I don't want to just send this stuff to a landfill.
One more thing - the good news is that we decided to reuse one of the three pebble glass doors. Instead of being in the dining room, it is going to be the door between the side entrance way and the kitchen. We wanted glass to let in light and then reusing the door will remind me of how the place was before... Fun.
Craig's list worked - the pebble glass doors that we are not reusing have a new home and we made a little spending money. They are going to be a part of a barn renovation project in the area. The guy doing the reno used to live around the corner on Young St and grew up playing in Fairmont park! Perfect.
