I know that I have been saying positive things about Amsted Construction all the way through but today they get full marks. Rob and I spent a lot of time prepping for today's walk-through so we were excited and anxious about doing it. Amsted did not deep sigh at us when we mentioned things that we wanted cleaned up - they even added to the list. Nothing was big on the list in terms of things that needed to be fixed. Only things to really wrap up the project and make it just right. I was talking to my grandmother on the phone tonight about the meeting and she described it as "just as you would want this type of (potentially tough) conversation to go." Whew.
The day ended up Rob and I getting copies of keys to our own house!!!! Amsted will be around this week finishing things off but the place is now our own again.
