Rob worked on insulating the basement this weekend. Amsted took care of getting the header space sprayed with foam insulation and they did the framing and prep work. We wanted to take care of putting in the fibreglass batt insulation and the vapour barrier. I had fun learning firsthand about insulation (something I had never done before) including driving back and forth from home depot in a little red car full of pink insulation.
My project was to strip and paint the old cold air return grates. We found out that some of them can be reused in the house so this was my weekend project. Not perfect but not bad.
