I finally remembered to contact Sustainable Ottawa today to have our names removed from their Solar Hot Water program registration list. We had signed up with them with the hopes of installing solar panels to meet our hot water needs but with the geothermal system it is already covered. If we add solar panels in the future, it would be for energy generation, not solar hot water.
I do want to take this opportunity to promote their program again. Essentially, this organization provides an additional grant to support home owners install solar hot water systems. For more information visit: http://www.sustainableottawa.ca/page.php?67
