I have already written about all of the flooring work done this week. We also got the rest of the front porch railing in place because the Amsted folks had to work outside. It isn't represented in the photo but Amsted also started placing the stone veneer on the porch posts. It will look awesome when the stone posts relate to the existing stone retaining wall around the front cover of the lot.
On Friday, they backfilled and we now have our backyard again. It is a mud puddle but at least there is a surface that you can walk on. We haven't been able to access the house for days because of the floor so it will be nice to go inside this week. The kitchen cabinets are coming and will be installed by the end of the week - exciting.....
